My Project

My students come from diverse backgrounds. A large portion of my school's population comes from poverty-stricken homes; poverty is their everyday dark cloud. They are kids with hopes and dreams of making their lives better, and bettering the future of their families. Help me give my special needs students the basic school supplies so they can kick start their school year. Students will use the notebooks for their classwork, pens and pencils for completing their assignments and folders for keeping their work safe. They need to feel prepared for school to feel confident to complete tasks.

Coming to school unprepared can create social and emotional challenges as well as putting kids at a disadvantage for learning.

Students should not worry about where their supplies come from. They should just be able to concentrate on the material being taught. Help me provide the tools students need.
