Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and have the desire to learn.

My 5th and 6th grade students' are a minority group; they come from a low socioeconomic environment.

Despite their economical situations, they are dedicated to learning and trying their best. My students work hard to get smart.

The students in my class absolutely love learning, and they persevere in their assignments despite their various needs. Our students' families are from a low socio-economic level and are unlikely to afford the additional supplies for their child.

My Project

The school supplies requested will create a fabulous learning environment in which students will feel welcomed and happy to be learning in school. My students are creative, thoughtful and have the desire to learn.

By donating to our project, you will ultimately help to increase my students’ academic achievement. The school supplies will facilitate and organize student learning during math and language arts lessons.

Students will be able to use their pencils, highlighters, and sticky notes during a language arts close reading lesson in which they annotate key details, main ideas, vocabulary words and mark important pages. Additionally, students will also be learning what it is to be culturally responsive and tolerant through language arts lessons. Furthermore, students will also be able to use these school supplies while learning and problem solving in math.

My students absolutely love hands-on activities, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
