My students need phonics games, sensory manipulatives, and a class set of markers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Robbins's classroom raised $740
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of our students are English language learners. We are requesting phonics games, activity centers and other materials that will help our students become proficient in English. Our hope is that by the end of the year they will increase their ability to read, write, and speak in Englis
Our school has a population of about 90% English Language Learners.
Most of our students come from families that recently immigrated to the United States. We are a Title 1 school, which means that a large majority of our students come from low income families. We have 100% free and reduced price lunch at our school as well. Our students are amazing and are eager to learn!
My Project
Our students will use the materials we are requesting in many ways. Many of the items are phonics based activities such as Roll & Read phonics game, which will help with learning and mastering the English language. We have also requested items such as flier holders so students can have small versions of class charts on their tables. We have requested dry erase markers so students can take part in shared writing activities to help with their writing skills.
As mentioned above we are an ICT class with both gen ed and special ed students. We have requested special education supports as well, such as a sensory set that contains a variety of balls to help some of students remain calm and fulfill their sensory needs in the classroom. We also requested some art supplies like a marker set and materials for the students so they can express their creativity in the classroom and enjoy the enrichment of art.
Your donations will help our students succeed in the classroom.
Many of our students cannot afford supplies and materials for school and your donation will help give them what they need to be successful. The markers and art supplies will improve the creativity in the classroom and allow students to express themselves in many ways. The sensory cushions will help the students focus in the classroom and provide an environment that meets the needs of all of the students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
