My Project

RISE is a unique teaching style that encourages students to thrive within a highly structured environment and each item within the project will help encourage positive behaviors by allowing students to remain focused or become refocused as well as alleviate stresses a typical day can cause. To help alleviate anxiety/stress while maintaining focus, students can utilize the pop up tent, squeeze toys, fidgets, flexible seating, art/science materials, calming corners tools, breathing cards, and posters.

Students need an outlet to express their wants and needs within a safe, calm, and inviting environment and each item within the project allows for various communications (visual, verbal, and gestural).
