My Project

I teach a group of students with varying disabilities and they all have their own individual needs. I set high expectations for my students which includes working hard and independence. Hard work leads to accomplishments and that means rewards! Snacks and candy are great incentives for my students' hard work. My students' hard work requires writing materials like pencils and dry erase markers also headphones and we go through these quick because they work so hard! My students also learn best when using tangible items which means they go through a lot of wear and tear. I laminate most materials in order for them to last throughout the year so we go through a lot of laminating sheets and velcro. These items will help in the long run as we laminate materials all year long!

My students all have different needs, like movement breaks or flexible seating.

The balancing board and stationary bike pedals will allow some of my students to move around while at their desk. The trampoline cover will cover our current trampoline that has seen some love! The rolling white board will allow me to come to my students or divide them into groups.

These materials will set us up for success for the new school year!
