My Students

New School Year, New Beginning, New Dreams to Become True.

Our kindergarten classroom needs basic classroom supplies.

I’m a Special Education teacher of the Integrated Co-Teaching Kindergarten Classroom. Our children are delightful, energetic and motivated young learners. Their first year in school is full of excitement and growth. We will be focusing throughout this year on mastering academic skills. We watch with delight as our students learn letters, sounds, and words and take their first steps toward reading and writing. They will acquire key fundamentals of math and have fun with language every day as their vocabulary explodes.

In our classroom, we have a group of children with special needs, who benefit from hands-on activities and learn through the experiments and educational games. We support our students by providing a safe, secure and loving environment to educate them socially, emotionally and cognitively. The school community is using every possible resource to accommodate each classroom, However, I feel that supplying the classroom with all the necessary materials, will help us to have a successful academic year.

My Project

It is well known that vocabulary development is a critical part of a child's development. There are opportunities for practice everywhere. Vocabulary is in the books our students are reading, the math lessons we are teaching, the science experiments we are performing and more. There are lots of ways to engage students in a meaningful practice that becomes a part of our daily instruction in any subject. After I teach the mini-lesson my students break into the small groups and practice to master the skills taught. Vocabulary games, Reading Comprehension dice, building words learning center and other hands-on games will help my student engage in meaningful games and achieve their full potentials.
