My Project

My commitment is to inspire new educational system students to excel beyond their intellectual, emotional and physical potential through a holistic curriculum, to become knowledgeable, open-minded, caring, independent, resilient, confident, and responsible young adults prepared to make a difference in this diverse world.

High-quality instructional materials allow students to engage more deeply and meaningfully with the standards.

Typically, we request classroom supplies (I.e. crayons, pencils, glue sticks, paper, etc.) from our parents, however we usually come up short. My school enrolls 97% economically disadvantaged students that can not afford classroom supplies for the school year. Students lacking the adequate supplies can cause them to waste their learning potential. I plan on using these supplies to cultivate a high quality learning environment for each second grader.

We will use the cabinet to house all classroom supplies. I am using dry erase boards during Check for Understandings to ensure full participation. The voice amplifier will help all to be able to hear the instruction.
