My Students

I work with special needs students who teach me new things everyday. Many of my students come from low income households. Daily life can be a struggle for many students at my school. My students face these daily struggles in addition to the struggles they may face from their disability.

Together, we grow stronger everyday.

I advocate for my students to receive all the services and support they may need. My students put a smile on my face daily by making progress however big or small that may be.

My Project

Switching schools can be hard for both students and staff! This school year, I switched schools. It was hard to leave behind my previous students and now I realize how many supplies I also had to leave behind.

Fresh supplies will give my students renewed interest and motivation to complete learning activities.

Construction paper and writing paper help my students develop their writing and drawing skills. Card stock is used for students to create their own book. Markers and glue are supplies that get used so frequently they are gone before you know it. Also, every kid loves a snack. A healthy snack will keep the students going after completing all the hard work.

Lastly, it's the behind the scene efforts that make things run smoothly. Organizational bins and shelving will help make accessing supplies and clean up a breeze!
