Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be my first year at a new school and I am so excited! I am getting the science classroom organized and ready to welcome incoming 6th-8th graders. In order to stay organized, I need some additional filing storage: a filing cabinet and file folders. This way I can organize student work and files. In addition to physical organization, Teachers Pay Teachers helps me stay organized in lesson planning to provide my students with the most rigorous instruction. The school logo is a sun and I am hoping to purchase the Celestial Buddies Sun Buddy as a classroom mascot. Within the first few weeks of school I am planning a lesson to determine If the school mascot is guilty of breaking into the janitors closet. We will examine various materials under a microscope to determine who done it! As always, I am so grateful for the DonorsChoose community and supporting teachers around the world!
