My Project

A new rug is much needed in our K-204 classroom -- the existing rug has endured several lice outbreak cycles and years of wear and tear. Bright and cozy, the chosen rug would provide a padded and cozy space for the children to line up during lessons. The rug's individual squares, on which each child can sit, will not only keep the children focused during lessons, they will also help the children master counting and identifying shapes. As you may have witnessed in person during visits to the classroom, the rug is also used for movement and dancing during much-needed breaks from academic learning.

We hope to raise enough money to purchase a new rug for the class.
