Help me give my students a complete sensory calming corner for our new room. The ball chairs are important for Special Education room to give alternative seating. Also items my low income students can use and storage.

My Project

I will be a 1st year teacher in Special Education. I have worked in this building for 4yrs as a Para educator. My passion is helping the students who need a little extra love and help!

A Calming corner is very important for students to be able to calm down and re focus.

Comfortable seating like a beanbag, low multi colored lighting and options of fidgets books and music are important needs.

The storage units will help for organization in the corner and our room. We also put basic supplies and water bottles on our list. Things the students will need. Many don't have back packs or supplies. I provide many snacks to my students this will help me organize them.

Our class will be grateful for any help we receive to start our classroom from scratch. It will be an amazing journey and year for us!
