Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I intend to set up an area in my classroom where students can pick a book depending on their level, I currently have zero books in my classroom and know that my students would like to read.

A laminator would help me to create learning tools to facilitate many modes of engagement.

Including creating story boards and other items that we can utilize to make learning not only more fun but more engaging.

The art supplies also help with continuing on with what we are reading by making it more fun. I plan on printing out materials that go along with the theme we are currently discussing and having some art supplies would help us.

I also would love some board games to help my students with taking turns as well as money and life skills.

I am a new special education teacher who came into a classroom that has very little to start with, so anything helps.
