Help me give my students a polo shirt that meets the dress code standards. Some students wear the same shirt all week &I'd love to be able to give students more shirts some to add to their wardrobe!
I am requesting that 100 black polo shirts be purchased to keep at the school for students who are in need of a dress code appropriate shirt. Some of these students only have 1 or 2 polo shirts at home. Being able to have shirts available at the school for students who need them would be a win for all. Students would be able to feel confident that they have a clean and new shirt to add to their wardrobe, or know where they can get one when they need it.
Some of our students wear the same shirt everyday with out having direct access to a washer and dryer in their households as many of our students rely on using laundromats on the weekends.
The goal for this project is to support the students and families at my school who are struggling by provide polo shirts for our students who are in need.
The majority of the students at my school are Latino. The school is a Title I school, which means we receive federal funding because our students are coming from low income households. Our school is very diverse. We have a significant population of students with disabilities and students that English language learners.
