Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school building is undergoing some much needed renovations. However, that meant our entire school packed up and moved to a swing space in the middle of the school year. We’ve been packing, unpacking, and setting up in a new space and are preparing to welcome students back soon. There are some essentials we need to help our students feel safe and cared for even as we all embark on this new journey together. Our classroom is an inclusion classroom so we really want to make sure we have a calm and consistent start so everyone can be successful. We are requesting a beanbag chair for our calm down/cozy corner, snacks for when students are hungry, cleaning supplies so we stay healthy, and some organizational tools to help us maximize our space. Thank you so much!
