My Students

As the PE teacher, I don't have a classroom, but I do get to teach PE to all 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students. I try to make the games fun, and all students really look forward to coming to PE.

My students are phenomenal!

They are so eager to do any activity that I have for them. They are learning about healthy lifestyles all the time, and their PE time is a way for them to engage in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. My school is so wonderful. We have great support from families and the community, however, funds are limited, and PE isn't a priority compared to basic classroom supplies. That is why I'm hopeful to get some new equipment for my students, and I know they will love these items!

My Project

The items I've requested are things that we don't currently have for PE, and also I've requested some resources that will further my ability to promote a healthy lifestyle beyond just what we do this year. The jump ropes, foam balls, and disc golf sets will be used to promote physical activity in a fun environment.

These donations will be used every week by almost 400 students.

These students will get to learn games and activities that most school just can't afford to buy for their students. Not only will the kids have fun, but they will be active, which is needed now more than ever.
