My Project
I teach music at a beautiful school in Miami. Every school year, we having new 2nd-graders who never had music before. I give each of these students their first musical instrument-A soprano recorder.
The only subject that has no barriers, is music, as music is a universal language in its own right.
The only challenge I have is facilitating the influx of new students every school year, with respect to giving them all a recorder to call their own.
Last month, I ran out of new recorders and now there are none for the new and transfer students in my classroom. Your donation to this project would allow me to give every music student their own instrument.
I am requesting 50 descant recorders for new students entering our school.
