My Project

Every child deserves the opportunity to explore the world of literature and develop the essential skill of reading! This is especially true for my kindergarten students with special needs. In our specialized classroom, we are dedicated to nurturing the unique abilities of each child and guiding them toward becoming independent and confident readers.

To achieve this goal, we are in need of books that are tailored to the specific needs of my students.

The power of literature in fostering early literacy cannot be overstated, and for my students, it is crucial to have access to books that cater to their individual learning requirements. These specially designed materials will provide a foundation for building phonemic awareness and decoding skills, essential components of reading development. By offering engaging and accessible content, we aim to instill a love for reading, boost self-esteem, and empower our students to take strides toward literacy independently.
