My students need headsets with a speaker option so they can practice reading passages and pronunciation skills in programs that we work on such as Lexia Phonics and Razz Kids. Our headsets are old and damaged.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My student need new head sets ! Many are broken and do not work! My students come from low socioeconomic conditions and digital items are a luxury and a necessity. Some of the headsets are at least ten years old

Despite the many challenges that they are dealing with , I am looking to ignite a love of respect for self and others and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

This is one way to move them a head with their English skills .

New head sets would make learning much easier . Many have to go without and we take turns using the working headsets! I want to change all that!!!!

My Project

My students need to have many opportunities to hear lots of passages and patterns, since most of them are English Language Learners.

By hearing the reading passages , students will be exposed to lots of new words that they haven't heard before.

By knowing the words and practicing the words , they can begin to read the words on the paper. They need this to practice ,practice and practice their words!

I am requesting twelve headsets with a speaker option so my students can practice their English words, passages and rhymes. Our district's technology is not up to speed with the rest of the world and I do not want my students to suffer because off it.
