Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help! My classes could really benefit from an iPad. My classes are a mixed group of general education and special education students. I could use as much technology as possible to help with the planning, grading, and implementation of lessons. My one computer is just not enough and an iPad would be extremely helpful with my teaching.

My Project

My students are in need of headphones for this school year. Due to COVID-19, my students will no longer be able to share headphones and will need their own. Many students are unable to afford their own headphones and this project will allow my students to have one of their own.

These materials will make a huge impact on my students´ learning.

My students benefit from hearing articles and stories read aloud to them as they follow along in the text.

At home, to reinforce the learning that took place in school, students can re-listen to the audio for deeper comprehension.

We will be using computers in much of our learning this year and headphones will be a great tool to keep my students focused on their work.

Students will be using headphones while watching videos, listening to online e-books, and interacting with various platforms in reading like Myon and Epic.

Many of my students do not have a quiet space to work at home; these headphones will help them in this situation.
