I have a variety of students that I work with from kindergartners who are experiencing music for the first time, to fifth graders who are just starting to learn how to put a piece of music together. Some are fluent in English, while others are learning it. Some of my students also just love to play, move and dance along to various music. Most, if not all, of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
My fourth graders will be learning how to read music in the spring using piano keyboards.
The headphones I am requesting will allow each of the students to plug into their keyboard and begin to learn independently. Each student will be able to follow the provided lessons and songs at their own pace without interrupting the learning going on with other students.
