Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first grade teacher at a low income Title 1 school. As technology continues to play a bigger part in the daily lives of adults, its role in the education of our youngest learners also continues to grow. Students now have access to various programs that not only review specified skills for all but also tailor each child's path so as to best meet their instructional needs. As students are still establishing themselves are readers many of these programs are voiced over allowing students to access the material regardless of their ability to decode the text.

In order for my students to get the most out of these programs they need to be able to block out distractions and focus on the task at hand.

My students are kindhearted, hardworking, and eager to learn. Headphones will allow them to focus on their individual learning without distraction. Each student requires an individual pair as sharing would promote the spread of germs.
