My Project

Flexible seating allows my students to be empowered by allowing them to make better choices for seating. During independent work, they are usually at their seats, working on the task at hand. It would only enhance their ability to stay focused with the Wobble Cushion as an option. Making sure that my students have a comfortable choice of seating is essential to feeling at home in my classroom, and that is critical for their motivation to learn.

My students are more engaged with learning when given a choice of where to sit in the room.

Some of the products I have selected are to help them choices. The headphones are for students to hear audio recordings of some of their favorite books. The wobble cushions are for the students who need to move to help themselves regulate and get their wiggles out! They are also an excellent choice for floor seats. I have seen how choice can have a positive effect on my students, and your contribution will only help them further!

Last, Since I am transitioning from 5th to 3rd grade, I have also included a set of popular 3rd-grade books so they have something new to read as they walk into the classroom. Having relevant and interesting books is awesome for helping students understand the importance of learning how to read. Your donation will help encourage these students on their reading journey.
