These items will greatly impact my student's daily learning and overall success in the classroom. Coming into a well-organized and neat classroom is always refreshing and sets a positive tone for the day. I am following my students from elementary to middle school this coming year and with this change comes a change in not only the curriculum and classrooms but also I will be in a completely different building! This is going to be a huge change for everyone. I am super excited to be the new social studies teacher and I am very excited to have some of my familiar faces from the past return to my classroom. After a couple of years of being asked to move up with my students, I made the jump and I couldn't be more excited for the coming year.
I have been eagerly preparing my curriculum and classroom layout to accommodate the transition to a new grade level.
I am looking forward to the challenge and growth that this change will bring. It will be bittersweet to leave behind the familiarity of elementary school, but I am excited for the new adventures that await in middle school. The opportunity to continue teaching my previous students is a welcome bonus and I can't wait to see how they excel in their new environment.
