This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Girls On The Run is a national program designed to strengthen confidence and important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity. Girls build friendships through interactive games, enjoy physical activities, and express themselves creatively through arts and crafts and storytelling. Confidence, character, care, connections, competence, and contribution are the cornerstone skills learned. Materials requested for this project will be used to enhance our track team and provide nutrition and electrolytes for team members. Thus will all benefit us for our 5K the girls will be competing in December.
