This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be my 1st English as New Language classroom space! The majority of my students come from low-income households, and each face unique challenges in their everyday life. Supplies that students are able to bring in generally go to their home classrooms, but I also want to be able to provide them with a clean space.

I have created this project with the hopes of giving them each some basic necessities that will help them come back to a classroom where they feel safe, loved, and equipped with the tools to be successful.

I am asking for dry erase boards, markers, pencils, and other basic supplies for my incoming students. In addition, I am asking for some fun, educational English learning books/games that will engage all levels of learners!
