Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are English Language Learners in a low-income neighborhood in south Oklahoma City. We use TPR, a comprehension approach method to learn a new language. I would like my students feel safety in this terrible pandemic time, reason why I would like to give them alternative way to get their learning materials as well as seating options.

My Project

This year is going to be different, with the safety of my students in mind, I am asking for donations to help social distancing between my students. I plan to use chair cushions for students to sit on, and a mesh file cart for for students to obtain their work supplies.

After my students learn online for nine weeks, when they come back, I will surprise them with a innovate way to complete their work in a comfortable setting but at the same time with safety as my priority for them.
