This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love the energy and enthusiasm my students bring to every practice. They are eager to learn and always give their best effort, whether they are practicing a new rhythm or performing as a team. Each one of them is dedicated to improving and growing as musicians. Their passion for drumming is contagious, and it's a joy to watch them build their confidence and skills.
With the new drum heads, my students will have the right equipment to practice techniques, perform with greater precision, improve their overall sound, and increase their pride in the music they create together.
The better the equipment, the better the experience—these new drum heads will help them reach their full potential. The current drum heads are old and no longer provide the sound quality or durability needed for effective practice and performance.
My goal for this project is to provide my students with the tools they need to continue developing their skills and passion for music. I want my students to experience the joy of music-making to its fullest and to know their hard work is worth investing in.
What makes my students special is their resilience and willingness to work hard, even in the face of challenges. They come to every class excited to learn, supporting one another as a team. They are always ready to take on new challenges, and it’s inspiring to see them grow both as musicians, individuals, and as a team. Their love for drumming sets them apart, and I am excited to see them thrive with the right resources.
