Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students come from a background of low income and struggle daily with the hardships that come with that. The surrounding area of the school has the highest number of gang members and a significant number of violent and drug related incidents in our city.

My Project

The document camera will allow for my students to see my examples while I write. Students will be able to see the writing process and the productive struggle in math while working through problems with their teacher. The students will be able to see the teacher model the process of learning while teaching.

It will also allow me to share their work in real time.I can display several students work within seconds.

Students can see how their peers think about how to solve a problem or how they wrote/feel about a topic. It is an opportunity to enhance the students learning in a different way.
