it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hand percussion is essential to a strong General Music program. Our Djembe drums have been through many classes and are tired. We have many other types of hand drums, but 4 new Djembe would massively improve the sound and feel of our playing, especially the middle/upper grades.
In the past, we've used hand percussion mostly as a learning tools.
These NEW drums would look great on stage during a performance, and provide some students enrichment opportunities.
I've seen our students make the best of many sub-par situations. They deserve some beautiful, fresh, new drums.
