My Project

Every year, our school puts on a show (sometimes two). The kids dress up, make props, and perform for their parents. It's an excellent way for all students to celebrate their cultures. Over this school year, we have worked really hard to refresh our performance space and make it better. We've purchased new speakers and microphones, a new sound mixer to run all of the sound equipment, a large locker to safely store everything and thanks to the DonorsChoose community we were able to create reusable backdrops out of felt. This year's holiday show was better than ever.

The one thing we lack is a place to set all of the music equipment when the students are running the sound for our shows.

A foldable standing desk will be the perfect DJ stand to run the music from. The top has a surface area of 26 x 21 inches, which will be plenty of room for the laptop and sound mixer. The adjustable height means that it can be adjusted to the height of the student dj and the whole thing also folds up, so it will easily fit in our locker.
