My Students

Why are students so bored? The see the same lessons, hear the same words from every teacher. They want their classroom to be cutting edge, with new technology. Today's students are electronically driven, and this isn't going to change.

My students are really hungry to learn.

That isn't just a cheesy saying, but it's really true. I have to remind parents that sick students need to stay home and rest because they don't want to miss school. I'm trying to give them what they need, and what they so desperately want.

My Project

With this piece of technology, I'll be free to roam the classroom and still write so they can see. I can let students do work on the tablet that transfers to our board. This interaction will completely change how we do lessons in the classroom. I believe each student will be fully engaged in each lesson with this tablet.

Let's face it, technology is advancing, and our kids need to be empowered to embrace this advancement.

This is a step that most teachers don't take, but I think this could change how I teach.
