Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new teacher, it can be difficult to build a classroom library. As each year passes, my goal is to pick books that represent the students who read them. Donors choose gives me the ability to carefully select books that will live in my classroom for years to come and enrich the reading experience of countless students.

Giving students access to books will open their world to new cultures, and help them fall in love with reading.

It can be difficult to find books in Spanish, but thanks to Donors Choose and the support of our community, I will be able to give students the necessary materials to further their language development.
