Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When I started at UAM I inherited a library from my predecessor (yay!) which had unfortunately not been updated in many years (boo!). As a result, the students aren't particularly interested in many of the titles I have on hand.

These are some books that they have requested in recent weeks, and I'd like to make them available to encourage reading outside the classroom.

They range from LGBTQ romance to spooky Stephen King fare, and represent a broad swath of my student body. Any support towards this library-building project will be greatly appreciated!
