My Project

All of our student's love coming to the library and checking out books. The 3rd-5th graders get to check out 2 books every 2 weeks. With 25+ kids in the classes the baskets get heavy.

Carts with Wheels are so much easier.

The carts would be for our 3rd grade classes so that it is easier to bring the books back and forth from the library. Right now the classes are using laundry baskets that require 2 students to carry the books back and forth. It gets heavy and the baskets start to break by the end of the school year.

The books are some fun new titles to add to the library to have some fun with colors. Having new books in the library is always fun, but these books can help them learn how everyone is different and how to act in some social situations. Student privacy is always very important. With the screen protector I can keep student information safe and secure from prying eyes.

The vacuum is to help keep our library clean. The current one we have in the library is dying. We do not have traditional; hallways at our school so I try to keep the reading carpet clean in between classes. It also keeps the dead grass at bay during the fall and the ice melt that gets tracked in during the winter.
