Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a Title I school in a special education class. All of my students are English Language Learners. COVID learning loss and social-economic unique situations have been affecting my students during the last few years. My students come from immigrant and low-income homes. We are starting a new school year and I want the students to feel more secure and confident in the classroom. We will use the giant magnetic draw page, laminating pouches, and other materials for art/writing activities to keep them motivated and enjoying learning with hands-on fun activities. The materials I chose will provide a fun learning to inspire them to learn.
