Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students must be in a lower income bracket to qualify for Pre-K. My four year olds come eager and ready to learn about the world around them. They especially love learning through play.

For the first time in my teaching history our school district will begin pre-k using long distance lessons.

It will be very important to create a community for the students and their families.

My Project

Beginning September 8, I will be teaching young children who have never been in school, through virtual learning.

The gift certificates will enable me to purchase activities that will target specific objectives for the beginning of school.

It will be possible to obtain materials such as task cards and learning games that can be used virtually as well as at home to engage the children.These items can be used in all areas of the curriculum from language arts , math, science and art.The students will be having fun while learning at the same time.
