This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in an inner city school that lacks in funds. We have not received funds since post pandemic. Recently started a new boys and girls basketball program. We are lacking specific basketballs for the teams and basketball racks. We do not have enough basketballs for each student and need new basketballs. We also have do not have enough storage to store the basketballs for both the girls and boys programs. With this more students will be able to participate more and have more students included and participate in a sport to help with their lack of exercise.
