What I love about my students is they are always ready to try new things.
They are eager to learn new art techniques, and many have already been experimenting with their drawing and painting skills at home and their eyes light up when they see the possibilities of the skills they can learn in my class!
I have many gifted students and also many more who will discover that they too can draw and paint!
I always tell them that drawing and painting is a skill anyone can be successful at if they are willing to try to learn and practice!
My Project
I am an artist that loves teaching kids how to draw and paint realism, as well as mixed media drawings and paintings, and printmaking.
Students will use a variety of materials to draw and paint still life art, self-portraits, perspective, and landscapes.
I'm starting a new art program for junior high and high school students at my school, and we pretty much just have pencils, a few pans of watercolors, and some construction paper. We need much more! Please help us have a variety of materials and tools for our junior high and high school art students.
