Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to engage students in hands-on, visual learning activities that enhance their understanding of brain science. With a classroom of 125 students, many of whom are Multilingual Learners (MLL), it’s crucial to provide a variety of materials that support different learning styles and modalities. These materials will help students better grasp complex concepts through visual aids, hands-on experiments, and interactive models.

In order to create an effective and clean learning environment, I am seeking donations for classroom supplies, including brain model kits, clay, neuroscience-themed visual aids, and organizational tools to maintain a tidy workspace after hands-on activities.

By providing these supplies, I aim to give students the tools they need to thrive, offering them a more engaging, accessible, and supportive learning experience.
