My Project

The students at my school are a diverse group that are up for new and exciting challenges. While we are in a community that pushes athletic performance, many of my students may never have the opportunity to participate in an organized sport due to various reasons. In my P.E. class, students get to feel like they are a part of a team, and will be introduced into a variety of sports that give them a foundation to be successful in many ways.

With over 42 students in the gym at a class time, it is important that I have equipment for all students to use and move safely.

We play soccer, tennis, badminton, pickleball, and volleyball just to name a few. Oversized volleyballs and 4 square nets keep students in their own space and allow for adaptations for our students with special needs.
