My Students

I teach students math & science subjects. I have a multicultural class, in a Title I city school. Many of my students are from a low economic background and live in poverty. Many of my students are NOT on a fifth grade level for math. My levels range from first to fourth grade levels. Special education students are mainstreamed in my classroom. Therefore, they learn math & science best through visual ,tactile and kinesthetic learning styles to grasp concepts and applications in the scope and sequence requirements for our district.

My Project

The supplies will assist my students by providing the necessary resources needed to complete daily academic activities that we often take for granted. Students who thought math was difficult,are making strides. As a math teacher, I love to incorporate hands on activities to make a clearer understanding of the concept. As we approach the middle of the year, I am in need of supplies for my classroom. The white boards, expo markers/erasers will be used for my observation to check understanding. The math Bingo games and geometric shapes will help reinforce their learning. I am excited to see them learn!
