My Students

My students love fiction! We read great stories together, laughing and learning. But, my students need to love nonfiction, too! They are interested, but it is hard to find grade-appropriate and current material for them to read. TIME for Kids is a great resource, and we would love to have it!

My students attend a Title One school with a high ESL population.

Some of them have never left their hometown. They need to know what is going on in the big world outside of their home. TIME for Kids will be a great tool to help us introduce them to a whole new world!

My Project

TIME for Kids is not just a magazine! It teaches reading skills, questioning, graphing, using the text for evidence, and gives way to great discussions. The exciting stories inspire the curiosity that drives learning. My small town students can get a taste of the great, big world through reading this class magazine.

Reading nonfiction has never been so vital to students' success.

TIME for Kids creates a place for critical thinking skills to grow and students to experience something new. Please help us receive our magazines!
