My Project

My students love to read, especially nonfiction. However, many of my nonfiction classroom library books are outdated and often overlooked by students. Students often read nonfiction on their iPads, but I want more physical nonfiction books available to my students.

This grant will provide my fourth grade students will new and exciting nonfiction books.

These nonfiction books center around various sports/activities and current athletes-both male and female. I truly believe students will be much more interested in these new books, leading them to discuss and recommend these books to their peers.
