Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a small class of special needs Kindergarteners in the North Bronx. My students need of hands-on, targeted and accessible materials that will help address their moderate to severe learning needs every day in our classroom.

Making Grab-n-Go activities and centers will nurture independence for students as well as create engaging exposures with learning materials used during reading, writing, math, and fine motor skills to support small, independent, and whole group student learning.

All materials, such as storage boxes, laminating pouches, double sided tape, magnets and more will be used to create, preserve, and store activities, that will be fun and engaging for students to use throughout the year. All activities created with these materials will become file folder centers and pencil box task boxes to support literacy, fine motor and math development and independence.
