Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of my students are newcomers to the United States and many of our families are struggling financially. My students are so excited to go to school in America, learn English, and fit in with their peers. I want to remove one of the barriers to success in school, which is coming prepared with the necessary and very basic supplies of pencil pouches, paper, and pencils.

Having the writing tools they need from the start of the day will set the foundation for learning without interruption.

My students need these simple tools for success!
