My Students

My students are from rural West Virginia. As with many kids, these students need constant reminders and supplies during this time of Covid. These students are in elementary school and do not always know how to keep themselves free from germs. Many of these students come from low-income families that may not be able to afford enough supplies to keep their kids properly sanitized.

These students would benefit from having books to read, especially about financial literacy.

These items will help to increase their time spent in school away from illnesses.

My Project

My school is at least 65% low income. Having access to books and reading materials is difficult for most families in this area. Families have little to no extra money to purchase reading materials for their children. The local public library is at least 2 miles away, which is difficult for some families who do not have access to a car. The school and the school library is the best and easiest place to access books and other reading materials. Please help to add new books to our school library.
