This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am requesting a set of leveled books. These books are much needed to help students become better readers. It will give students an opportunity to read books at their level and practice skills taught in class.
Students love to read and discover new books!
These sets of books will also be used to teach key phonics skills that students have not yet mastered. Students will be thrilled to have books that they can practice skills and strategies taught in small groups. The collections of leveled books will give students the "just right" books and will be a wonderful addition to our classroom!
