Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Telling a student that they cannot play their instrument hurts my heart. My goal as a band teacher is to provide an equal opportunity for all of my students. However, as our reed supply is diminishing, I am no longer able to provide that opportunity. As the cost of reeds continues to sky rocket, many of our students' families are struggling to buy more. This leaves us with students who cannot make a great sound on their instruments or not play at all.

By providing reeds for our students, they will always be set up for success during band class.

Many of my students worry about asking their parents for reeds because of the high cost. This will alleviate their stress and help them to be the best musicians they can be. Please consider helping our band become the best we can be.
