Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face the challenges of poverty on a daily basis. We are located in the southernmost region of the United States and live in one of the poorest counties in the country. These students, who wake up every morning wanting to learn despite the difficulties that they face at home, are who inspired and motivated me post a project on DonorsChoose.org. I am honored and blessed to serve them and to be part of their lives. This is why reaching out to you is the least I can do to help them improve and be able to reach and experience the same opportunities that others have in our country. My students manage to always have a smile and care for each other as much as possible every single day. Thank you for taking the time to read this short description of my students!

My Project

As we move on to this new era of technological advances we must ensure our students are keeping up with the most innovative features that the world has to offer them. It is of great importance to provide them with the neccesary tools so they can exceed our expectations. Nearpod is the best and newest software that allows teachers and students to work as one while targetting all the skills that they are required to learn in a very deep and meaningful way. Please support this project so that my students can achieve excellence through technology! The impact that this funding will have on their education is beyond what words can express.
