Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of my students come from a low-socioeconomic background. Some come from broken homes, are in foster care, while others live in shelters. They come from areas where crime is great and death is common.

As a result, students lack the skills and resources they need in order to be successful.

My students are wonderful children who need some individual attention and guidance. As an educator, I treat each of my students as individuals and look for ways in which I can connect with them. Though I am educating them academically, I also educate them socially and help make them more aware of the choices before them and the decisions they ultimately make. I want them to feel that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. while also supplying them with the necessary resources to assist with their success.

My Project

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the way that students attend school and complete assignments has shifted and changed. While in school, students will complete work digitally and electronically, working with chrome books. The work will include typing into documents, but will also include creating documents and completing projects with text, diagrams and pictures. Most students are still learning how to navigate the programs we will be utilizing. There will be students who will have difficulties completing these tasks using a track pad. By using a mouse, it will allow students the ability to navigate these programs more smoothly, as well as assist them with creating these documents and completing their projects with minimal difficulties.
